Vijay is a statistical programming leader with peer-reviewed publications, a TUSD parent, and the son of a teacher. He chaired Corral Hollow Elementary's site council and now serves on site councils at both Corral Hollow and Kimball High.

A proven clinical-trial leader, he serves as a senior executive at a biotechnology firm. In this role, he directs complex data strategies and analyzes critical clinical trial data to ensure the safety and efficacy of modern healthcare solutions.
Born in India, Vijay was raised by a father who worked as a school teacher, instilling in him a lifelong respect for learning. He immigrated to the United States as a young adult to further his education, ultimately earning a PhD in the biological sciences from an American university. Having now lived in America for the majority of his life, he has spent decades building his career, raising his family, and giving back to the country he proudly calls home.
A strong advocate for local students and families, Vijay has extensive hands-on experience in public school oversight. He played a key role in ensuring a new local elementary school was completed on time, and he has served on its school site council since its opening — including as chairperson. Additionally, he continues to give back by serving on Kimball High School site council, helping guide academic and strategic goals for the next generation.
